Right in the wine-making region of Dao, in the heart of the wine route, you will be given the opportunity to visit farmhouses and to indulge in wine-tasting, discovering the aromas and flavours of wines of a unique smoothness, and which are sure to surprise you.

You will also be able to enrich your gastronomic culture of the Beira region, with authentic dishes made from a wide range of Protected Origin (DOP) products, the most noteworthy of which are Serra da Estrela cheese and creamed cheese, which you may watch being produced.

There are a limited number of restaurants, but the quality-price ratio of the same is unbeatable, both in relation to traditional recipes, signature cuisine with young chefs, or even an unexpected gourmet dish of oysters served with champagne.
